UPDATES AND REACTIONS TO THE RAPE AND MURDER OF UNIBEN STUDENT.

            Awendo media college news gave a report on how a  100 level student of the University of Benin was raped and murdered in a church where she went to read in preparation for school after the lock down.
         In recent updates,different reactions has been trailing ever since the sad incident.



EDO STATE GOVERNOR,GODWIN OBASIKI'S REACTION.
        The governor of Edo state,Godwin Obasiki has reacted to the news of the rape and murder of Uwaila Omozuwa inside the RCCG Parish.

His statement reads;the @policeNG has been mandated to identify,arrest and prosecute anyone found culpable to her death.
     "The violence against persons (VAP) law is still effective in our state.Using this law,we Will ensure to investigate what exactly transpired and deal decisively  with those found complicit in the dastardly act,who ever they might be".He tweeted.

REACTION FROM THE MANAGEMENT OF UNIVERSITY OF BENIN.

In the same vain,the management of University of Benin has decried the news of the rape in a statement through the institution's Public relations officer,Benedicta Ehanire.
The statements party reads "reacting on behalf of the management,the vice chancellor Prof.Lillian Salami ,said the actions are condemable and should not be conduled by any society.She said the current pandemic was already hard on on everyone and that compounding it with inflicting additional pain on any family is a wicked act".

        "While commiserating with the bereaved family on the loss of their dear daughter ,Prof.Salami prayed God grant her soul peaceful rest.The Vice chancellor then used the opportunity to call on students of the institution and indeed people to be wary of the company they keep and places they visits".


PASTOR ADEBOYE'S REACTION.
The general overseer of Redeem Christian church of God,pastor Enoch Adebayo also has this to say.

"All I can do at this time is to Pray to the family of Omozuwa and do everything possible working with the relevant authorities to bring the perpetrators to book".
"I and members of the family condemns this act strongly and urge everyone to stay calm,as we  are already looking into the matter and cooperating with the police to  establish facts of the shocking incident.#justiceforUwa.


Apostle Suleman's reaction.
  The senior pastor of Colonial church,Apostle Johnson Suleman has promised to pay one million naira to anyone willing to provide reliable information to the apprehension of those behind the rape/murder of Vera Uwaila ,via tweeter.



FALZ'S REACTION.
Popular singer Folarin Falana popularly known as falz,wrote:
"It is so exhausting to see injustice continue to thrive time after time.Every time we say not again and then there is another  new story.Enough is Enough.It is too disheartening,justice must be served for the innocent souls we keep on losing #justiceforTina.#justiceforUwa.



The Inspector General of Police also assured that the perpetrators will be brought to book.
