       Awendo Media college is set to move to telegram on 1 July ,2020.The Vice Chancellor of the college,Gozie Kendrick Ekweozo made this known to students and aspiring students of the college via the college's whatsapp platform.This move is geared towards accommodating more students to the online college as the  whatsapp group can not accommodate the increasing number of students.

      Old and new students who wishes to join the new telegram group  should ensure they have the telegram application on their mobile device.The app can be downloaded from Google playstore,Apple store,9apps,APKpure or anyother app store that has the Application on their downloading list.

FG SUBMITS SCHOOL REOPENING PROPOSAL TO NATIONAL ASSEMBLY

        The federal ministry for education has presented to the national assembly a detailed proposal on its plan to reopen schools nation wide.
     The minister of state for education,Mr Chukwuemeka Nwajiuba,did not provide details of the proposal,while stating the fact that some people  would misconstrue it as the ministry guidelines for school reopening.

      Briefing the federal lawmakers,the minister said "Children are asymptomatic carriers.Nobody can prove whether they can infect eachother.Not even the health experts.Everything we know about it is what we read.There is nothing we discovered on our own.

He died only this morning at national hospital abuja after a protracted illness.The university registerer Hajiya Fatima Binta Muhammad who confirm the development to newsmen says the funeral arrangements will be announce soon.

IPPIS AND THE FUTURE OF PUBLIC UNIVERSITIES.

          The federal government has introduced an integrated Payroll and Personnel information system (IPPIS) to improve the effectiveness and efficiency in the storage of personnel records and administration of monthly payroll.

However, the Academic Staff Union of Universities has opposed the system, stating that it would pose some challenges to the running of the University system in Nigeria. To make its stand public, ASUU has declared an indefinite strike on March 23, 2020 after the expiration of its two-weeks warning strike which started on 9th March, 2020.

JAMB RELEASES CUT-OFF MARK FOR 2020.

    The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board,JAMB has set the benchmark for admission into tertiary institutions for the 2021 school session.

          Last last school na scam! Last last school na scam!!,  I'm pretty sure you are familiar with this line, especially when it went viral Sometimes last year. And to be honest, I also bought into it.

YOU HAVE WRONG EXPECTATIONS OF THE SCHOOL*: this is easily one of the biggest reasons why many people believe that school is a scam, and that is evident in the fact that almost everybody think they go to school just to be qualified enough to get a job. So when a graduate finds it hard to get a job after school, he starts seeing school as a scam. I'm sorry to bust your bubble, but you need to stop seeing school as an automatic ticket to a job. The school was originally intended to help teach important skills, and impart you with knowledge in different areas of life, and not to get you a job or fetch you money.

LAGOS TO DECIDE REOPENING OF SCHOOLS IN TWO WEEKS.

      The Lagos state governor,BabaJide San-Olu in a  televised press briefing on Thursday revealed that the decision to reopen schools in Lagos will be taken in two weeks.

            Over the years,some young or upcoming broadcasters have failed to make it to the "big stage",where they would be asked to present on air for the public,due to some challenges or the other.
          At the end of the class,hopes will be that students present at the lecture will learn how to prepare themselves to avoid unnecessary errors,anxiety or stage freight when they are on air.The class promises to be mind blowing and a must for students of broadcasting.

          Awendo media college will be welcoming another outstanding media personality just few hours after having an inspirational and motivational lecture by a media guru Emmanuel Prince Umahi (Degeneral).

              Degeneral had a talk on "leveraging on new media;my personal experience",Where he gave an insight about new media and shared his personal experiences over the years.
                 
              The college is set to welcome another media personal Domain Owolabi,who will be taking a topic on "program branding and self packaging".
