Konji Leyla , an Ethiopian show promoter has waded into the controversy surrounding who the king of African music is between Burna Boy and Davido.


In a recent Instagram live video, she said: "Now, here is the thing. At the moment, most people feel like Burna Boy  is the biggest artist in Africa but I feel the opposite".



She stated that Burna Boy has more work to do in Africa, but when it comes to Africa, Davido is seen as the best. She further talked about David having more shows than other artistes in Africa, especially East Africa, and Burna boy having 95% of the bookings.

Finally, she made it clear that some Nigerians probably think Burna Boy and Wizkid are bigger, but they are not when it comes to East Africa and Africa at large.
